Our Story

Back in 2019, before the Covid pandemic, Garry had the idea of creating a blog and The thesilverhedgehog.com was born.

Over the next few years, with the help of JJ, Garry learned the fundamentals of running a blog website.

Garry investing in a used Olympus OM10 MKII camera, and started to put some images on the blog. To our surprise, the images were well received, resulting in lots of great comments.

Spurred on by this, Garry started to offer stock images for sale. This gave us the confidence to give our images a home of their own and offer the digital files for sale. So that brings us to 2024 and the launch of our very own photography website. Lichfield Photographic. Named after our home city.

We hope everyone enjoys the images as much as we loved creating them, and we would love to hear what you think via our contact form.

Our plan is to regularly update the site with new content and offer exclusive limited downloads of images .
